”Life’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what you gonna get”
Dessa ord har aldrig känts mer relevanta och med detta sagt låter jag Urbains egna ord guida er genom dessa nio ekfatslagrade monster!
Han började lite försiktigt med en produkt..

Black Damnation XXIII ”Hollow” (Lagavulin)
For sure it’s been a while but hell yeah, it’s Black Damnation year … N° 23, ”Hollow” matured for five years on Lagavulin barrels. To be released 3rd week of April 2017.
Därefter exploderade det och jag såg livet passera revy!

Black Damnation XVI ”Ivan the Terrible” (BenRiach)
One of the most famous malts in the world, perhaps on account of the story of George Smith,an illegal distiller in Speyside who went legit when he obtained the first licence to legally distill whisky in 1824, and he hated apples just as Ivan The Terrible …
Black Damnation XVII ”Ben” (BenRiach)
From the heart of Speyside, the BenRiach Distillery has very quietly been producing premium quality single malt Scotch whisky since 1898. Capturing the curiosity of whisky enthusiasts, the fruity BenRiach character is enjoyed by all.
Black Damnation XVIII ”Major Tom” (Glen Grant)
Major Tom, born in 1847. A legendary innovator, socialiser and traveller, he lived by his own rules and set his own standards. New ideas fascinated him and he wasn’t afraid to explore them. He was the first man in the Highlands to own a car. Glen Grant was the first distillery to have electric light. And he introduced the tall slender stills and purifiers which created the fresh malty flavour and clear colour that defines Glen Grant whisky to this day.
Black Damnation XIX ”Maestro” (Rom)
Carraïbean rum with Black Albert, a proven positive choice.

Black Damnation XX ”Ma Boule” (Calvados)
Stouts and apples, Ivan Torras hates apples, but ”Ma boule” it is.
Black Damnation XXI ”Black Mes Senior” (Caol Ila & Lagavulin)
We released Black Mes matured on Caol Ila barrel, for the first time in February 2010. Mes aka Paul Melia, a London architect addicted to Caol Ila, has grown older too. We added Black Mes to mature on another barrel, Lagavulin it is.
Black Damnation XXII ”Willy” (Clynelish Wilson & Morgan)
N° 22: ”Willy”. Tribute to Urbain’s father who became 80 years old this year, further much alive & kicking as ever! What to say about Clynelish besides it’s a superb example of what Highland malt whisky can do to a beer like Black Albert. The balance is sublime and the mouthfeel is perfectly rounded, quite coastal too.
Black Damnation XXIV ”Octopussy” (Octamore)
Last of our Double dozen … ”Octopussy”.
