Äntligen kommer det positiva och glada nyheter från Bryssel. Min gode vän Joel Galy som jag lärde känna när han jobbade på De la Senne har startat ett nytt samt eget bryggeri i Brysselförorten Schaerbeek. Bryggeriet har döpts till Brasserie de la Mule och inom kort kommer vi få möjlighet att inmundiga hans nya brygder vilka jag har stora förväntningar på!

Här följer Joels egna ord om detta fantastiska projekt:

After nearly 6 months of hard work, I am very excited to announce the newest chapter in my professional life.

The many years of experience at Brasserie de la Senne, without which I would never be where I am today, and the season I worked at Brasserie Cantillon, gave me the will and determination to open my own brewery in order to truly live my passion.

The brewery will take up residence at Les Écuries van de Tram (the Stable of the Tramway) in Schaerbeek – so what would be more natural for a neighborhood where local residents are known as ‘donkeys,’ than to now find a Mule there as well?

There’s still work to be done and the brewhouse is on its way, but Brasserie de la Mule should be able to offer you it’s very first concoctions early next year. We’ll gladly open the doors of our bar to you to come and taste for yourselves as soon as the time and situation allow.
